CHARLIEMORSE
A line I keep coming back to“You don’t rise to your potential. You fall to the standards you set for yourself.”
I find the leads, make the calls, run the meetings and close the deal. All of it, start to finish. I did £150K in my first twelve months of doing it properly. Right now I am at DLT Podiatry Supplies turning accounts that were not spending into ones that are, working from home between face to face meetings out on the patch.
Relocating to Vancouver in October 2026, with a two-year Canadian work permit already approved. Open to new roles there now.
The territory
Two territories, owned end to endSouth of England
CT Medical Sales / Jul 2024 to Jun 2025
Sole commercial rep for the entire southern region, selling capital equipment into private clinics. I set the territory plan, built the pipeline and closed the business myself. All of it was mine to run. £150,000 closed in my first twelve months.
London & South East
DLT Podiatry Supplies / Sept 2025 to now
Podiatry and private healthcare, run field based from my first month. I work the dead end of the CRM, anything non-spending, plus net new I source myself. Home for admin, on the road for demos, with no office and nobody supervising: 276 accounts and £140K+ closed in ten months.
Prospecting
Dormant accounts and net new, all mine to findNothing I sell was already producing.
At CT Medical I was given leads inside my own patch and built national LinkedIn outbound on top of them, running campaigns for the whole country. At DLT I work the dead end of the CRM, anything non-spending, plus net new I find myself. All 276 accounts came from one of those two places and none were producing when I got them.
I build my own tools. When the lead lists were not good enough I taught myself to scrape better ones. When I needed a pitch asset I built it rather than asking for it. AI does a lot of the heavy lifting there and I am not remotely precious about saying so. The point is not that I am an engineer. The point is that I do not sit still waiting for someone else to unblock me.
The call
Volume first, then precisionEvery call and message is researched first and written for that specific prospect, across phone, email and WhatsApp. Volume on its own is just noise. Volume plus tailoring is what turns dials into booked meetings.
Measured in HeyReach. 35% replied positively, which is the number that actually counts. Tighter lists and harder testing pushed it higher again.
Cold outreach put me in front of Premier League football clubs.
I ran national LinkedIn outbound at CT Medical off lists I had built myself in Apollo and Clay. It booked meetings with top rugby clubs and Premier League football clubs.
No warm introductions and no brand doing the work for me. Just a list I made, a message I tested and the willingness to keep sending it.
The close
Largest deals to dateClosed in twelve months at CT Medical, running the whole South of England.
My biggest single sale, a capital equipment deal at CT Medical. Machines ran from £2,500 to £24,000 plus VAT and I closed across the whole spread.
DLT is repeat supply rather than capital equipment, so orders are smaller and won again and again rather than once. This was the biggest of them.
The account
Closing is the start, not the endAccounts at DLT. Every one was dormant, non-spending or found by me. None were producing when I picked them up.
Revenue from those accounts to July. Ten months of turning records that produced nothing into ones that do.
| Month | Revenue |
|---|---|
| Oct | £1,774 |
| Nov | £12,886 |
| Dec | £2,178 |
| Jan | £8,186 |
| Feb | £13,597 |
| Mar | £10,674 |
| Apr | £23,202 |
| May | £13,989 |
| Jun | £29,782 |
| Jul | £20,744 |
October was my first month selling after a month of training. It made £1,774. June made £29,782, my best yet. Active accounts climbed every month over the same period and rose again in July. The counts stay private. The trend does not.
Talent is overrated. Volume, discipline and genuinely caring about the customer are what separate people.
Outwork everyone. Out-care them too.
- InvestI pay for my own sales and mindset coaching out of my own pocket and travel to industry sales events like Rome. I would rather be the rep who invested than the one who sat waiting to be trained.
- ReadConstantly. Mostly psychology and sales. If someone has already solved the problem I would rather find their answer than guess at mine.
- TestEvery message, every list, every week. I am comfortable being bad at something in public for a while on the way to being good at it.
- RepeatNone of this is clever. It is just done more often than most people are willing to do it.
Where I have done it
Two years, two territoriesGiven the dormant end of the CRM, anything non-spending and free rein to source net new on top. I have built that to 276 accounts and closed £140K+ in ten months. Trusted to own the territory from my first selling month, working from home on admin days and driving the patch for demos and face to face meetings. My own plan, my own diary, my own priorities.
Sole rep for the South of England, with full commercial ownership of the region. I closed £150,000 in twelve months selling capital equipment from £2,500 up to £24,000 plus VAT and ran national LinkedIn outbound alongside the patch. A lean team meant I owned every stage myself, from list build to signature.
What I build
Same skills, no company behind meI run full cycle in the day job. This is what I build in my own time.
A patient reactivation system I built for a healthcare clinic in evenings and weekends. Automated messaging that wins lapsed customers back, with no extra headcount. I do not just sell tools, I build them.
- 01 / SegmentSplit the clinic’s dormant patient list by appointment type and the clinician each patient last saw.
- 02 / MessageWrote personalised recall messaging for each segment, the same discovery instinct applied to reactivation.
- 03 / AutomateBuilt and deployed automated email and SMS campaigns that trigger the right message at the right time.
- 04 / ResultLapsed patients rebooked, lifting rebook rates and lifetime value without adding staff.
What it shows: segmentation, copywriting, automation and measurement, the same stages I run in a sales pipeline, applied to winning back lost customers. I also write Python for scraping, enrichment and reporting, working AI assisted.
